Knox Says Good-bye, Bhuchar Elected FBISD Board President

Sonal Bhuchar was unanimously elected president of the Fort Bend ISD Board of Trustees during Monday night’s meeting, replacing Cynthia Knox who did not seek re-election to the school board.
Bhuchar’s election came as trustees emerged from a 40-minute executive session during which the board deliberated in closed session. Trustee David Reitz made the motion to nominate Bhuchar.
Steve Smelley was re-elected as board vice president and Bob Broxson was tapped as secretary. Both votes were unanimous. . .get the full story at:
