FBISD Chief Communications Officer Mary Ann Simpson informed the Star that the district did not meet on Tuesday with representatives from the teachers’ union during a scheduled meeting and also affirmed the district’s position relating to completing the reduction in force (RIF) process and to a commitment to accommodate departing notified employees as vacancies become available..."
