Crockett Middle School Principal Has Left The Building; FBISD Mum About Why

Dr. Catherine O’Brien apparently no longer serves as principal for David Crockett Middle School.

Sources at the school, at 19001 Beechnut St. northeast of Richmond, say O’Brien has not been seen in her office for several days, since about the same day several students were involved in a fight in the school’s hallway.

Rumors about the principal have been swirling at the school since then, however, Fort Bend Independent School District officials apparently have not informed Crockett employees about what may have transpired.

“She’s not in,” a secretary in the Crockett Middle School principal’s office said Thursday morning. “You know as much as I do. I have no clue what’s going on.”

O’Brien could not be reached for comment. . .
